Link a WhatsApp number

A session is one WhatsApp number linked to Warsita as a linked device, the same way WhatsApp Web is. To link one:

  1. In the dashboard, open Sessions → New session, give it a name and enter the number.
  2. On that phone, open WhatsApp → Settings (or ⋮) → Linked devices → Link a device.
  3. Scan the QR code on the session's page. The status turns Connected within a few seconds.

Use a pairing code instead

If scanning is awkward, for example because the phone is the one showing the dashboard, click Link with phone number on the session's page. Warsita shows an 8-character code. On the phone, choose Link with phone number instead under Link a device and type the code.

If the QR code does not work

  • The code expired. WhatsApp replaces it every 20 to 60 seconds; the page shows the new one on its own. Scan the latest one.
  • The phone says it cannot link a new device. A WhatsApp account can have up to four linked devices. Remove one you no longer use under Linked devices.
  • The phone is offline or on an old WhatsApp. Linking needs the phone online and WhatsApp up to date.
  • Scanning keeps failing. Use Link with phone number instead. If the session still does not link, email hello@warsita.com with its name.
  • Use a number you are allowed to automate, and that does not use another gateway service at the same time; two services on one number keep disconnecting each other.
  • Keep the phone charged and online. Warsita works through the phone's WhatsApp, and WhatsApp ends the link when the phone stays offline for about 14 days.
  • Read Keep a number safe from bans before you start sending.
Still stuck? Email hello@warsita.com with your workspace and session name.
