n8n
The n8n-nodes-warsita community nodes connect Warsita to n8n workflows:
- Warsita sends text, images, video, audio, documents, locations and polls; edits, deletes and reacts to messages; follows their status; checks which numbers use WhatsApp; and reads contacts, groups and the linked account. n8n's AI Agent can use it as a tool.
- Warsita Trigger starts a workflow on any webhook event, such as a received message, a poll vote or a message read, and checks each delivery's signature.
Install
In n8n, open Settings → Community Nodes → Install and enter n8n-nodes-warsita.
Credentials
Create a Warsita API credential:
| Field | Value |
|---|---|
| API Key | A session API key (wsk_…) from the session's page, or a personal access token (wsp_…) from Settings → Access Tokens |
| Session ID | With a personal access token: the session to use (ses_…). Leave it empty with a session API key |
| Base URL | https://api.warsita.com |
A session API key is enough for the Warsita node. The Warsita Trigger needs a personal access token and a Session ID, because it sets the session's webhook.
Send messages
Add the Warsita node, pick Message → Send, and fill in To (a phone number with its country code, or a group ID …@g.us) and the content. Media is sent from a public URL. The node answers with the message's id and status: "queued"; follow it with Message → Get or the message.status event.
If Retry On Fail runs a send again in the same execution, the node reuses its Idempotency-Key, so the message is not sent twice.
Start workflows from WhatsApp
Add the Warsita Trigger, pick the events and activate the workflow. The trigger points the session's webhook at n8n and keeps its signing secret; deactivating the workflow turns the webhook off again.
A session has one webhook URL. If it already sends to another URL, the trigger refuses to activate unless Replace Existing Webhook is on, and then it puts the old URL and events back when the workflow is deactivated. If you rotate the webhook secret in the dashboard, deactivate and activate the workflow again.
Each event is one item with event, session_id, timestamp and data; the fields of each event are in Webhooks. To reply to a received message, send to {{ $json.data.chat }}.
